What items must the contract contain?

a. A contract is required for architectural services unless the work is pro-bono, part of an existing on-going agreement with a client, the client has requested that no contract be formed after being informed of the statutory requirement, the work is for a licensed surveyor or structural engineer.

b. The contract must contain a description of the services to be rendered, compensation and method of payment, the means by which additional services will be addressed, the name address and phone number of the owner and name address phone number and license number of the architect, and the means by which the contract may be terminated by either party.
